In the Wes Anderson-directed film, an animated adaptation of the beloved Roald Dahl children's book, Mr. Fox is a journalist with a secret habit for larceny. His thievery puts his wife and children in danger when it pits him against the farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean. And it's up to Mr. Fox to save the day, albeit in fantastic style.
Now, I have been excited about this movie for many months without the aid of faux pelt accoutrements. The combination of Anderson, Roald Dahl and a heavy-hitting voice-over cast including George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray is pretty unbeatable.
So what to do with my new accessory? Should I wear it around the office as a conversation piece, sport it to the movie theater on opening weekend or take it as a sign that I am meant to go as a fox (in drag?) for Halloween this year? Just think of all the poor, synthetic stuffed animals who had to die in the making of my tie.
