Kellogg at VF
VF Corp. named apparel industry veteran Susan Kellogg as president of its Contemporary Brands coalition, effective immediately.

Kellogg most recently served as CEO of Elie Tahari Inc. Prior to that, she held a series of leadership positions with Liz Claiborne Inc. over a nine-year period. From 2004 to 2007, she was group president of bridge and contemporary brands, with responsibility for five labels: Juicy Couture, Laundry by Shelli Segal, PrAna, Ellen Tracy and Dana Buchman. Kellogg began her career at Macy’s West.

Based in Los Angeles, Kellogg will lead VF’s Seven for All Mankind, John Varvatos, Ella Moss and Splendid brands. She will report to Eric Wiseman, VF chairman, president and CEO. She replaces Mike Egeck, who left in June for personal reasons.

Birki’s New VP
Comfort footwear brand Birki’s appointed Robert Mangione as its VP of sales and marketing. 

Previously, Mangione served as SVP for footwear brand Piloti, as well as the VP of U.S. sales for global brand marketing. In his new position, at the Birki’s U.S. headquarters in Novato, Calif., Mangione will work to strengthen relations with existing customers and promote growth in new trade and consumer channels. 

“Birki’s has real brand equity among retailers and consumers,” said Mangione in a company release. “There’s incredible opportunity for stronger placement due to the brand’s continued product innovations. Our collection impacts many market segments, and we’ve only just begun to realize the brand’s full potential in these areas.”
